For any desiring to learn more about the Lindsay family that migrated from Kilmarnock, Scotland and helped settle Heber City, Utah and the Wasatch Valley.
Welcome
From all I can gather, William Lindsay was the straightest of arrows, a saint. In an attempt to keep his experiences accessible, I'm dedicating a few years of research into William Lindsay and putting it on this blog. Please sign the guestbook. I'd love for this to be a gathering place for discussion on the man and his family.

Marks and brands. William Lindsay the romantic?
Below we have a record of the symbol used to brand cattle belonging to William Lindsay. I'm not sure if there would have been a different mark for the sheep or not. Anyway, how did he get lucky enough to secure the upright heart brand and on the right cheek? Happy Valentines day!
